The Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre provides an insight into the fascinating underground world created by Joseph Williamson in the early 19th Century. Take a guided tour through a section of the network of tunnels and view exhibitions which depict the life and times of one of Liverpool's most eccentric characters.

The Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre is owned and operated by the Joseph Williamson Society. (Registered Charity No: 1062091 )

The Joseph Williamson Society receives no public funding, therefore, the Society relies entirely on visitor income and donations to maintain and develop the Heritage Centre.

Last admission 1 hour before closing.

In winter (from 1st October) we are open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm The last tour is at 4pm.

We are also open all week Monday-Sunday inclusive to co-incide with the Half-term Holidays for Liverpool Schools.

In Summer (from 1st April) we are open Tuesday to Sunday plus Bank Holiday Mondays 10am - 5pm. The last tour is at 4pm.
